Organizations may purchase the 180 Degrees Program using a sliding scale that provides program options.

(For options other than books add them to your cart and we will contact you about “Training”, “Data Collection” or “Full Program” options.)

Option 1: Curriculum Purchase Option

  • Cost: $50 per book per student plus shipping and handling
  • 10% bulk purchase discount available for purchase of 100 or more books
  • Books may not be reused or reproduced and are subject to copyright laws and protections

Option 2: Facilitator Training & Certification Option
Organizations may choose to have program facilitators trained and certified in the 180 Degrees Program. Certification training is a hands-on 3.5-day course where participants learn about the 180 Degrees Program curriculum, the research basis of the curriculum, social-emotional learning, methods of program implementation, case management, and options for performance measurement. Option details:

  • Cost: Actual cost to provide training
  • Requires a minimum class size of 10 facilitators
  • Assumes a 1 semester contract with 180 Degrees Program
  • Contracting organization agrees to pay for “actual costs’ of the certification training which include transportation, meals, and lodging for 180 training staff and all training materials
  • Training participants are on their own for transportation, meals, and lodging costs associated with participation in the training
  • Curriculum books may be purchased for $50 per book plus shipping and handling with a 10 book minimum purchase
  • 10% bulk purchase discount available for purchase of 100 or more books

Option 3: Data Collection & Reporting Option
The 180 Degrees Program offers organizations access to the 180 Degrees Electronic Collection Database System (EDCS) so program outcomes may be collected, stored, and reported. Option details:

  • Cost: $100 per student per semester
  • Curriculum books are $50 per student plus shipping and handling
  • 10% bulk purchase discount available for purchase of 100 or more books
  • Access to the EDCS for data entry and reporting of performance outcomes at the mid and end of each semester

Option 4: Full Program Option
Organizations may choose to purchase the full 180 Degrees Program option that includes all of the features of facilitator certification training, database training, and data collection & reporting. In addition to these features, this option also includes the following options and details:

  • Cost: $300 per student per semester
  • Curriculum books are $50 per student per semester plus shipping and handling
  • 10% bulk purchase discount available for purchase of 100 or more books
  • Access to the EDCS for data entry and reporting of performance outcomes at the mid and end of each semester
  • Access to 180 Degrees Wiki
  • Program oversight and management support by 180 Degrees Program staff
  • 180 Degrees Auditing support
  • 6.5 hours of in-service training for facilitators each semester
  • Requires contract agreement with 180 Degrees Program
  • Contract organizations purchasing full program access to 180 Degrees Program curriculum agree to sponsor 1 community service event per class per semester at their expense

Paid Facilitator OptionContract organizations may choose to compensate their facilitators that have been certified in the 180 Degrees Program.  Under this option, facilitators are paid for facilitating 180 classes.  The contract organization is responsible for providing compensation.

180 Degrees Program recommends the following facilitator pay schedule:

  • Certified facilitators receive $1,250 for the first class of 20 students, if facilitator has additional classes we recommend an additional $625 per class.
  • Facilitators receiving compensation are not employees of the 180 Degrees Program and are considered , employees, consultants or contractors of the organization providing direct program services
  • Facilitators receiving compensation adhere to all contract and program delivery requirements

Field Trips
Field Trips supporting 180 Degrees Program curriculum learning objectives are recommended each semester. Contract organizations are expected to provide the funding for field trips. Normally, 180 Degrees Program field trips are budgeted at $25/student. Field trips are recommended to be based on individual student merit.

Each 180 Degrees Program class is expected to develop a class community service project each semester. Community service projects are tied to 180 Degrees Program curriculum and community need. Contract organizations are expected to provide the funding for community service projects. Normally, 180 Degrees Program community service projects are budgeted at $400/class.
